Should your current cover fit your spa in the same manner you would like your replacement cover to, go ahead and measure the old cover. Normally, you are needing a replacement cover due to your curent cover becoming water-logged, warped, or mis-shapen due to the overall poor quality of the product or outside elements causing damage, i.e. pets. That being said, you will get the best fit from your new hot tub cover if you measure the spa itself. You can always compare the spa measurements to the old cover for comparison and verification depending upon your situation.
Take note that we will custom make your AccuLok hot tub cover per your specifications, and the retailer's order. Should a cover be built incorrectly due to our mistake, we will re-make your hot tub cover correctly, pay for the shipping for the corrected cover, and you can return our mistake at our expense. AccuLok hot tub covers are made to within 1" of your supplied measurement. If the cover is made correctly to your measurements and you have made an error in measuring, we can not assume responsibility for that. Be sure to measure correctly; once, twice, and double-check again before placing your order. Refer to the AccuLok Measuring Tips for further details. Call the factory or your local retailer with further questions.
For spa cabinets with no rail, measure from the widest point on the acrylic spa edge.
For spa cabinets with a rail, measure from the widest points on the rail.
For custom in-ground hot tubs, measure from the widest points above the deck, patio.
Measure each requested dimension in inches at the widest point. Round up every measurement to the nearest inch. If the cover is slightly over-sized, it will function properly. Should the replacement cover be too small, you will compromise heat retention, looks, and possible locking tie-down issues. All measurements are in inches.
